Christmas is not complete without them.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_46\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.platelunch.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ginger_cookies.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-46\" src=\"http:\/\/www.platelunch.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ginger_cookies-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-46\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ginger Cookies<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><a title=\"Mom's Ginger Cookies\" href=\"http:\/\/www.platelunch.net\/recipes\/ginger_cookies.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Download a PDF version<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dry Ingredients:<\/strong><br \/>\n4 cups flour<br \/>\n2 cups sugar<br \/>\n4 teaspoons baking soda<br \/>\n1 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n2 tablespoons (or more) ground ginger (I like 3 tablespoons myself)<br \/>\n1 tablespoon cinnamon<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wet Ingredients:<\/strong><br \/>\n1 1\/3 cups vegetable oil<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n1\/2 cup molasses<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oven to 350 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Mix dry ingredients together well in a large bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Mix wet ingredients together separately.<\/li>\n<li>Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Form dough into balls about 1 inch diameter.<\/li>\n<li>Roll balls in sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 13 minutes for chewy for 15 minutes for crispy cookies.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from oven and cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before removing to paper towels to completely cool.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My favorite ginger molasses cookie from Mom.
